An article that explores the healh aspects of Wheat Grass/Barley Grass. They give a few trade names so this is more for some prepared tables/power than what you grow yourself.
HOW MANY MCG.'S OF VITAMIN K ARE THERE IN ONE OUNCE OF WHEATGRASS?I AM ON 2.5MG TWICE WEEKLY OF COUMADIN AND 5 MG THE REST OF THE WEEK. I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP MY VEGETABLES AT A CONSTANT
MCG.,BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. I THOUGHT IF I COULD FIND OUT WHAT THE COMPARISON TO A SALAD AND ONE OUNCE OF WHEATGRASS IS , I COULD TALK TO MY CARDIOLOGIST ABOUT IT. THANK YOU.

I love wheatgrass juice. I am taking 1 1/2 ounces everyday. 3 flash frozen cubes in water. I also take Coumadin, usually 5 mg per day except on Sundays, and then it is cut to 2.50 mg.
I want to get a balance between the 2 without problems. Can any doctor that believes in wheatgrass juic help me? Thank you, Susan

I am taking a shot of wheat grass daily,
Is there a big effect on the coumidan that I take, will it alter my blood levels?

I am also on coumadin, and would like to begin taking wheatgrass.. I believe it could help to control Atrial Fibrillation.
Please let us know if wheatgrass is ok to take with coumadin?
Thank you,
