When did you start your website and why?
I have been working on this site for several months now and went live with it a couple months ago. I started this site because I wanted to offer vitamins, supplements and other related health products at a discount as well as provide lots of information about nutrition and healing.
Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc
My website sells name brand nutritional products at low prices. The site has nearly 5000 products available to choose from and is growing every day. My goal is to add as many health supporting products as possible while educating the public on how to improve their health.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
The most difficult part has been the marketing aspect. I have been learning a lot about how to market a web site and online store, so that part is getting easier.
What has been the easist past of operating your website?
I have 12+ years experience in the computer field, so the technical aspect came naturally to me. I also have about 5 years experience in the healing and nutritional field, suggesting which nutritional products, vitamins and herbs are the best to support and improve different health concerns.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Using wordtracker to get keywords with the best KEI and using them in the appropriate places on my site.
What method has been least successful for promoting your website?
Pay per click. Too costly for what you get in return.
