Site provide information to combat sedentary life diseases such as Diabetes, Cholesterol, Blood pressure, Eye problems & Insomnia with Alternative or Complementary Medicine such as Herbal remedies, Homeopathic remedies, Yoga poses, Acupressure and Reflexology.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
My wife is affected with giddiness and i have consulted some 5 MD's, 2 nerve specialists, 2 ENT, 2 eye specialists and many more. But no result, so i decided to involve myself. I am very much interested in Alternative medicine and thus i start studing thourgh internet and find remedies and giddiness is cured now.
so I like to share this experience and the benefits of alternative medicine to everyone affected with diseases.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched my first website http://healthy-ojas.com on Sep 2008.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Ojas means vital energy, which is very much important for our healthy life, thus the name healthy-ojas.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I already implement what is in my site to my family member and i present it in a very simple terms. That is easily understanded by anyone who is not have any prior knowledge in the Alternative medicine.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Presently I provided the information to popularize alternative medicine. With some earning through google ads.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I am very much decided about my goal of success.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
My budget is very low, but I am ready to invest my time.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
After my site become really big, then I am ready to invest money on different softwares to ease the development job and on manpower.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
I am prepared to meet any unexpected cost or headaches.
What has been your biggest challenge?
To get a google rank of below 10 for particula keywords.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Not a single method, many combination method are required. Also method will vary time to time. So watch the trends carfully to avoid loosing the seat.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I hope it is going on with my expectations.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I just started on Sep 2008 and I will continue till, I stop breathing.
