Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

The Sacred Portal is a place to begin your journey. To learn more about Hypnosis, Reiki and Regression. To gain insight, reconnect with your higher self, and to restore balance and harmony to your life

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Ensuring that my intentions and business identity are synonymous, and that it's readily identifiable for the consumer

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

Great Hosting provider, seamless interface, great support,

What was your biggest mistake?

Don't know that yet, time will tell

Who maintains your website and why?

I maintain my website, it's a simple website, uncomplicated, and I can ensure the content is up to date, and have a hands-on sense of how it's doing

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

It's really too early to tell, still very much in the early stages, but there does seem to be interest in my services.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

I think that e-commerce and future of the internet will be the new way. There are potential dangers and pitfalls, such as identity theft, which one must always guard against, but the advantages, and benefits of the internet, far outweigh the disadvantages. This is now the information age, and with it, the possibilities are limitless

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

I love search engines, am a regular user, and they are very helpful tools to point business your way. The key is to maximize your visibility to have as many pointers aiming your way. You've got to get out there to be found.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Hard to say. Multiple AD exposure, free listing sites, Vitality AD seems great, ADwords are great, keyword searches, word of mouth still has the most power in any business. Asking for feedback is invaluable. It helps you connect with your clients, and better customize your approach.

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Doing nothing at all, and hoping some one will find you. That never works. Not that I've fallen into that, but I think that's the worst thing you can do is nothing. The rest is about trying, trying, and trying again. Never stop trying.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

Less tiers. Too many multi-tiered sites, too much time wasted going through the layers. Not everyone is a high speed user. Too many bells and whistles. SLows down traffic, and not required.
