Please give us a short summary of your website?
We treat Prostatitis (men) and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (women) with unique methods. People come to us from all over the world, and our cure rate is very high.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To increase the information we could offer prospective patients, and get them involved more in a community of past and future patients.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
First launched in 2004, a much simpler website.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name "Prostatitis Cure" represents exactly what we strive to accomplish.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We endeavour to inform prospective Prostatitis patients as fully as possible about what their treatment will entail
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To be able to be more widely known for what we can offer a patient.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
So far, it is early days, so we do expect to expend a lot of time and energy no matter what the return is.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would not change anything.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely, rapid site growth has been allowed for in our initial plan.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
No surprises in development of the website so far.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Finding good videos of our local area on Youtube so patients can acclimatise a little before they come.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Web directories, especially those specifically within our field, and the use of videos.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
We have some experience especially in supplying information to people, so it has pretty much all gone to plan so far.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We have had the name for a while, but the site itself has just been fully rebuilt and launched... a couple of weeks ago.
What's the greatest need in your business from a wesite point of view
Our greatest need is to get patients to realise that they have a slim chance of recovery using standard medical care. But there's only so much we can put on the home page without over-doing it.
