What inspired you to launch your own website?

I am a stay at home care giver to my 87 year old mother.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

First site was Countryside Peddler, I now have forwared to our new site. first site was live in 2001

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We live below the Blue Ridge Mountains, and I wanted something with Natural in the name.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We offer excellent customer service and a wide selection of items for reatil and wholesale

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep as a way to make income

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Everything, I can not go back to work in the healthcare field now.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would spend more money in ads

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, I make over 50 bars of soap in a week now.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Nothing at all

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting people to the new web site, I see that from my stats, they are coming to Countryside Peddler, and that site offered different products.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Links and submit to search engines

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

My Expectations are always high. That's the way I am.I hope to get soe much work, that I can get a friend to help me.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have had my new site up since June, and will never take down. I only pay $10.00 a month for hosting.

Where do you think you'll be this time next year

Hope to be on vacation with lots of orders pouring into the site.
