I stumbled upon this video that really attracted my attention. It was a BBC report regarding the widespread selling of organs in China's prison departments. Watch this and start to be terrified. Most of the people being asked, or forced, to sell their organs are prisoners who were just protesting against their country. Maybe they believe these people are far more healthier than those who were jailed because of illegal drug possession and stuffs alike.
This is a horrible thing for the organ donors. Giving a part of your body to someone is really not a healthy decision. It may sound heroic, but it will be a lame excuse if you're doing it for money. It's your organ, it's part of your body. You have the right to do whatever you want with it, but be responsible and do not take your health for granted.
Giving one of your liver may look easy, well at least for the first few months. You will not be feeling the issue of having only one liver functioning in your body, but you will feel its effect in the following years.
Actually, the moment you decided to give an organ to somebody, you already lose 20% of your life span. Each organ has their own function and your body enjoys the benefit of it. But losing one will result in malfunctions inside your body system. You will eventually feel incomplete, all the functions of your body will cease and will be abnormal, and it could lead to fatal situation.
Do not support illegal organ selling!
