Please give us a short summary of your website?

We are an on line health food retailer with over twenty years of experience in the health food trade. With an easy to negotiate secure site we offer a wide range of health food products, magnetic jewellery, essential oils and etceteras!

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I love the technology and also the creativity of web sites and as we'd successfully ran a health food business for twenty years we felt that it was time to expand into cyberspace.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

My first web site was an arts website as I also work as a writer.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I thought about what we sold and it described it quite succinctly.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

we try to provide people with the friendly and informative service we offer in our stores. We provide downloadable leaflets online. We provide free samples in opur deleiveries and try to ensure that we give our customers what they want and how they want it.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I'd like to keep the site.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It's getting there a bit at a time, but we are really still very young at the moment. We only registered the site with Google in May.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would build a health food community, recipe exchanges, forums, chat pages.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I think so. (Gulp)

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Populating the site and the SEO is a chore

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting to grips with the technology

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

SEO

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

it is easier than I expected just time consuming

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I've been running it since May 2007
