Wow, at last--an article on glutathione! Well, I guess this is because of the so much searches by Filipinos on the topic.What is glutathione, anyway?
Glutathione is an antioxidant that is naturally inside our cells. Because of lavish marketing, we now all know that antioxidants. They say that these chemicals prevent cancer, aging, and other stuff like that. They've marketed antioxidants as some form of a miracle substance. I've seen various TV ads of coffess, tea, and the like. They all tell the same thing: "We are rich in antioxidants."
However, in skin-whitening-obsessed Philippines, glutathione serves a better role. Glutathione, as studies show, whitens the skin (not of all people, though) of its user as a side effect. Cool, isn't it?
