emotional freedom techniques Cora Rennie Natural Healing Practitioner Interview
Name of your website?

Cora Rennie, Natural Healing Practitioner

Your name?

Cora Rennie

Your Location (city, etc)

Whyte Ridge, a south-western area of Winnipeg

Please give us a short summary of your website?

My website is designed in such a way that it may be a tool, or resource, to help promote and enhance your personal journey to wellness. I am a Natural Healing Pracitioner located in Winnipeg, MB, and I have training in Reiki, CranioSacral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Quantum Techniques (QT) principles. My website of course explains each of these modalities, and how and why they work, but primarily presents "my take" on holistic healing, and the principle and concepts behind the body's ability to self-heal. My website also provides links and information regarding some simple and effective healing tools that anyone can learn (and which happen to be free) as well as self-testing techniques that can be used as a means of tapping into subconscious truths, in order to help you develop your intuition.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Personally, I am an avid reader and researcher. When I encounter something new that sparks my interest, I avail myself of all the information I can find on that topic, in books or online. I have created my website with the intention of providing a resource for people who are looking for alternatives in their life to improve their health and well-being.

Primarily, my intention is to help as many people as I can. I have included all of my experience, learnings, and beliefs on the website, in the hopes that individuals can take from it the bits and pieces that will help them. I want people to be aware of the real roots of pain and stress, and the free tools out there that can help to alleviate them.

On another note I rely quite heavily on information I find online, in regards to understanding methods and modalities, and in choosing practitioners. In that regard, I want prospective clients to be able to read about and understand the premises under which I work, which allows for our time together to be spent more on treatment, and less on "education."

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is, in fact, my first website, and I have had a wonderful time putting it all together. Websites can be another creative (artistic) outlet, and should be appealing to people, as much in presentation as in content.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I struggled at first in finding the "perfect" name for my business (and hence my website) until I was finally able to accept that I wanted people to know me for my personal name. It was part of my own personal journey, as well, to reach a level of greater acceptance of myself in general, and of the fact that there is no separation between my "normal" self and my "practitioner" self.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

My website offers information that can be found on numerous other websites. The only difference may be in the way it is presented. With resources of this sort, it is important for readers to work with what resonates most strongly with them.

What is your eventual goal?

I don't see my goal changing much over the next few years. Right now I wish to have enough visibility to reach the people that are searching for the help I can offer (either through the website, or as a practitioner.) I will continue to add and change the content of the website, as my experiences grow and change...

What is your website address?
