What inspired you to launch your own website?
To provide a source of quality and unbiased information for contact lens wearers experiencing problems with their lenses.

How did you decide on a name for your website?
A clear concise title that summarized the website subject content.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
it is written by health care providers, mainly ophthalmologists who are very knowledgable while providing non-commercialized content.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
We would like to recoup our start up costs and perhaps earn a decent living from the site.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
So far, we are deeply in the red.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Continual updates and refreshing of hte site while SEOing it.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes. I'd have a real job then.

Difficult to get enough traffic to the site.

Manual submissions.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Very frustrating to put a lot of effort into a project and not see it come full circle.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Few years now we've been running it and we'll keep it up becuase we believe in the content.
