Have you heard of the song "You're My Hunnybunch" of better known as the "Cuppycake Song"? Well most of us have heard it already and we all fell in love with the little voice behind it. Well, that song was recorded in 1994 where the singer, the little Amy Castle, at the time was just 3 years old.It' so popular that up to this date a lot are still using it in many events such as at a children's party (my cousin used it in her son's birthday). There are also a lot of covers of the song. One particular cover was made by a kid named Sam from Alaska. It gained millions of views in YouTube behind of his very cute appearance and almost perfect synch singing. But behind all those cuteness, there lies a deep story.
The original singer of the song, Amy Castle who is now 18 years old did a video of the Cuppycake Song with Sam. But I would like to post here the video that called the attention of many people around the world. Sam's version of the Cuppycake Song.
Sam has a rare kidney condition. This disease requires him to take steroids everyday to keep him alive. The medication caused his body fats to be uber develop and his cheeks almost pop.
He recently was invited to The Doctors to let people be aware of his condition. He is not naturally fat and definitely not obese, people. So do not think he got that big just because he ate a lot. It's a kidney condition. We just hope he gets better soon.
