What inspired you to launch your own website?
The opportunity to create my own business selling very high quality information DVD's.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is my first web site.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
To provide an informative title which also contained very relevant keywords.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
These products are recommended by a leading British Osteopath/Physiotherapist.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To have several web sites selling DVD's within this niche. I alrady have the DVD's and licenses.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It is too early to say yet.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Very little, this is a learning curve for me, possibly I would get more technical advice.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I intend to let a fulfillment house deal with the distribution when necessary.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
The delay in getting my site in a better SEO ranking.Too much money going out and too little coming in yet.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Coordinating the copying and delivery of the DVD's as well as developing the site, with very little experience in this field.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Submitting Articles to directories.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Much more work than I expected although it is very satisfying.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Just over two months live, and I intend doing this indefinitely.
