Name of your website?

Herbal Nutrition for Natural Health

Your name?

Dr. R. Rachel

Please give us a short summary of your website?

As a physician, scientist and concerned family member, I have collected information on various aspects of health, diet, and nutrition. One of the most important new areas of medical research is on adult stem cells. At the same time, nutritional research is documenting how we can improve our own health by eating right. Most exciting, research has led to the idea that by stimulating the release of your own adult stem cells, you can help your body maintain optimal health.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Due to family circumstances, I needed a viable work-from-home option and found about building a home-based business using a very clever system (see link from the bottom of my home page). I combined this with information about nutrition and adult stem cells to let people know about new advances in nutritional supplements and products that can improve their health.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I first started it in August, 2006. It was initially a very meager offering of basic nutritional information but once I discovered adult stem cell research and StemEnhance, the information has taken a life of its own and the site has taken off. It's so easy now to think of pages to add.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

By using the brainstorm it module of the web design program that you can reach by linking to the 'powered by...' link at the bottom of my website pages. It helped me pick the highest value keywords for my topic of interest. I might have picked something different had I known about adult stem cells at the start!

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

My background in medicine, medical research, and passion for stem cell research and what it can do for the health of every person on the planet makes it a unique place to refer people who would like more information. I also have a link to my other website where people can find out more about StemEnhance, the first and only stem cell enhancer available as a nutritional supplement.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I will keep this website to provide information to people and generate contacts or links to the site about StemEnhance. This is a product that is the future of medicine in terms of stimulating your own stem cells, and I anticipate further increases in traffic that have started when I began listing information on adult stem cell research.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It's been slow, because I had very little time to spend for many months. At the present time it is beginning to snowball and I look forward to a continued increase over time.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would make a huge e-library of documents on adult stem cell research as applied to various medical conditions for people to have a one-stop informational site to learn everything they wished to know.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Good question. I would not be able to spend as much individual time speaking with each contact who called, which would be a regret. However, I would be able to refer people to other individuals with specific good experiences with StemEnhance who would be happy to help.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Very few. Submitting to directories that don't have a free option has been unexpected.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Finding the time to spend on something that I really like to do!

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Following the steps outlined in the web development system that you can link to from the bottom of my web pages.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It's been more rewarding, challenging, and demanding than I anticipated.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up?

It's been almost a year and I have no plans to stop in the near future.

What is your website address?
